Our third year was certainly one of our brightest to date! We had a delightful program of experimental cinema, short film, animation of all kinds - from right across the country, and had a great time hosting filmmakers from BC, New Brunswick, and Ontario at the Vancity Theatre! Hosted by James Hussen with a Q+A with attending filmmakers with moderator (and filmmaker!) Brendan Prost. We were also privileged to preview works from the BC-animated, Oscar-nominated Pear Cider and Cigarettes, the BC-made feature film Sensitive Parts, and have a taste of local nature with The Perfect State. Wrapped up with a lovely chat-and-chew at our favourite post-screening hangout, Tavern at the New Oxford!
